Simply...pizza!

No it’s definitely not about recipe...it’s something poles apart! On the occasion of new year I made Veggie Cheese Pizza! Yeah as simple as it can be cause I don’t know to cook …and wanted to avoid awkward comments! Ill at ease! hush!

Anyways…what I’m emphasizing on is 'simplicity in celebrating our joys’. Okay I’m promoting this fact because I personally couldn’t party hard this new year! The fact remains that simple ways and routine activities can make us delighted alottt!

I assembled all the basic contents …went on to shop for them with my dear mum! My mom the ‘inspector’ as always, was just accompanying me! Not at all guiding me about what was I supposed to buy. All left to my analization. Since I started planning for it late…the bakeries were out off pizza base (bread)…also the stores said the same story. It was a quest! Finally one store got number of breads equal to my family members. Never mind…it was a simple treat anyway!

I enjoyed making the pizzas …my mum not guiding me again! Uneasy- going! The sight of cheese was mouth-watering. Finally I was done and served to all. Whoa! Loads of good comments. No I’m not lying! I know I’m an engineering student and have no connection with cooking at all. But I wanted to be simple and hence used a bit of talent!lolz! No doubt my Veggie Cheese Pizza is gonna be rememberd by all! After all it’s on the occasion of New Year…and accassionally if I’m gonna make it again…it’s gonna be Simply The Best again!wink!!

Filtering concepts!

The other day I was in a very difficult situation…carrying this super funky bright red color book ‘Principles Of Active Network Synthesis and Design’…striding through the main bridge at Dadar…flipping the virtual pages in my mind…in short going for ‘Communication filters’ paper (sem 5 exam)

What a situation that was!! I was at the peak point of provocation. Wondering at the same time…that I never wanted to attend the exam. “Such a stupid subject”, I murmured. While I was climbing up the ladder networks and calculating the circuit element values…I was discovering new concepts (actually last minute doubts!), which were making me go mad. Why the hell I never studied in the preparation leave!!?!

Calculating the complex poles and zeros…realizing multiple amplifier biquad circuits…I was reading the book while walking! Constantly blaming the subject …disliking…my real fault was, I never pre-prepared for that. If I had utilized the PL efficiently, I would have never entered that trouble.

I left for college 2 hrs before the exam and I had to revise the ‘Design of Finite impulse Response filters’…xxxx!!…my mind was sending infinite impulses!…xxxx!again!…signal distortions due to imperfect transmission channel(brain). Demodulating these signals, I boarded the train…maximizing channel utilization I got my eyes stuck in the book. Thankfully the train was very less crowded (I can never say it wasn’t crowded at all!). Suddenly I felt like peeping out of window (Ya got a window seat!)…Oh! A super-cool dude at Bandra station… Okay! A group of hot chicks …very stylish. “Honey! You are getting distorted again”, I said to myself…limiting the bandwidth I proceeded to study .

As soon as I got down from the compartment, I realized I forgot the question bank at home...let me brief up what happened at home__

Our professor was very kind and sensible enough to provide us a question bank for the subject…most likely questions..which were actually alotttt in number. Anyways…
I was going to get a print of that, the previous day…only to find out printer suddenly refused to co-operate.” Bullshittt!! Whats up wd u?!!”…I abused the printer. I got it printed from a café. That was one of the..ya one of the… consequence of unprofessional conduct..
Anyways…continuing with the situation at railway platform…

I felt my grave feet …not wishing to go to college. I got into a rick …reached college…stupid auto-rickshaw meter was speedy…it costed me more bucks than usual days! I saw my friends revising in tension …got a bit of support. I was definitely not the only one out there!

You all must have gone through such situations. I experience it many a times. But manage to come out safely. That’s my smartness or may be incompetence or both. But buddies I’m sure no one wants to be perfect when it comes to studies! wink!

PS: Now I’m so very relaxed again…that I’m ignorant about my ‘Antenna and Wave Propagation’ paper next!@$%^^&****…

Husband: Close your programs and log out for another user.
Wife: It’s worthless taking to you!
Husband: Shut down.
Wife: I am going then!
Husband: It’s now safe to turn off your computer!

T-shirt speaks!

Hey friends! We all have the craze about wearing T-shirts with smart and funny quotes. I believe T-shirt quotes emphasize any aspect of our attitude in a very expressive way. It's a great means of depicting almost any funda...you can even tell a person that you have a grudge for him/her without letting others know what you exactly mean by the particular quote!

I personally like wearing trendy tees with quotes printed on it(get it done myself according to my taste!). Once in a calculus lecture I was wearing..."Alcohol and calculus don't mix. Never drink and derive!"

In a programming lab I was wearing..."Computer programmers don't byte, they nibble a bit!"

I found people appreciating me for that and it feels good!
But thought of wearing..."Excuse, but do I look like someone who cares?"
.... kidding!)

Now lets see if you guys got good ones. It really requires talent you see! Reply anything that comes to your mind. I would love to appreciate that...

Crazy Crazy-Engineers!

One unfine day….. I was just too strained about searching a good seminar topic. In the process-e-panic, I called up my old friend for getting a high-quality suggestion. She got vacant initially and kept wondering to sincerely help me! I thought calling up people wouldn’t fetch me any thing appealing...ultimately I apologized to perturb her!

Again the hunt began. Thanks to the World Wide Web!…suddenly I got an impressive list of ‘Ultimate mini project ideas and seminar topics for telecommunication engineering’. A guy named Ash had posted it on a web site named Crazy Engineers! After exploring more I realized it’s a mesmerizing forum and thus the quest for fun and knowledge began… I couldn’t stop myself from registering and there it said…Welcome techfreak!…immedialtely after choosing a nice topic I posted to Ash. Thanks to him I was helped at right time. Otherwise the rising mercury in my head would have burstd the whole system..!!

What attracts me the best is that CE is the user-friendliest forum I ever came across. Everything technical, non-technical is so resourcefully managed. And how can I forget those strict warnings of Biggie!… “slang is not allowed”…and all those reasons justifying why not to use sms text! I must say my writing improved allot!…big deal Biggie..!

Ya! Biggie!..the Big_k…Kaustubh..the good administrator! He has worked inventively. From identifying all the imperfections to managing the posts. From organizing contests to everything else. Its just too much on CE. Good number of activities! According to me Biggie is a very good senior...sometimes you can bully him too (I like doing that!) and wonder you can bully your seniors too! wink!

Sorry to the rest of the team coz I hardly know anyone else apart from Ash and Biggie. But I'm sure it’s a freaking team. (was hoping to meet everyone at CE Mumbai meet and wanted to come along with my friends…but had good amount of imp work the same day…sad!)

No wonder ….. we’re smart, we’re brilliant, we’re just awesome! Just like our crazy engineers!
I wish CE flourishes sky high with more number of admirers each day…each moment. Looking at the team CE I realized what wonders we all could do by being a part of it. Gaining knowledge is the key motive while fun and frolic is in our blood stream!
We at CE share a good relationship of being crazy engineers!

Spontaneity!

Recently my friend asked me to speak about 10 best things that I liked in her! Firstly I wondered if she had 10 things that one could like that much. Secondly 'the best ones'. It took me few minutes to speak about something that made sense and was genuine at the same time...but only to spark a fire in both.

She started accusing me of being manipulative!! I wondered ...being thoughtful about someone or knowing a friend insightfully was a manipulative menace?!! She wanted me to be spontaneous (and genuine at the same time!) to speak my heart and not being formal. I explained how important it is to analyze before speaking any damn thing...n she said "Analysis kills spontaneity"!

Now I needed a convincing explaination! Behaviour that might be natural (I agree) but is unconstrained and is the result of unplanned impluses...how can it turn out to be something reliable!?? I always believe spontaneity is 95% immaturity...5% being the talent of the person to blow out something poised(quite possible!).

People say spontaneity yeilds that what subconscious mind breeds. We keep on developing some natural thoughts inside in mind and tend to speak out when someone triggers them all of a sudden. I believe we do that only to goof up practical situations.

It's higly important we keep our Thought Emitting Diode(MIND) turned ON in any circumstance. I used diode because on one side it has heart which constantly provides negative reverse voltage of emotions and on the other side the brain which has to over power somehow being at the peak potential( I know I am messing with the basics ..I understood but never remembered them anyway!).

The moral of the story is : Stay away from situations wherein you could be trapped in such a way that to keep a step out would also seem next to impossible. Follow your instincts...Spontaneity or Analyzation...be sure of not getting screwd up!

Smart Dust!

Not again! I found my monitor display gettin shaky for quite a number of times after switching it ON. Why the hell that happens with me!!?


...Screen wavers..
...words tremble..
...........keyboard and mouse seem to be uninterested in gettin connected to the cabinet socket..
worst case...CPU main switch gets stuck inside!!


With a patient heart altercating with an intolerant brain I opened the cabinet...Aha!..Discovering a wide array of dust particles.."Marvellous" I said with anger..Okay!I consoled myself and blow-dried the whole thing(fear of crackin the mother board!).. Kissing the cabinet works..as if it has sensory organs like humans..or atleast sensor networks of love and passion. But it works wonders!


Story repeats no matter what precautions I take. As if it was programmed to take place after every couple of months. Passion for dust too!!!


Smart Dust I must say..really smart. I wonder how contradictory it is to actual SMaRT DUST in communication networks..the Microelectromechanical Sensors or MEMS!! With this agonizing thought I wondered how was I going to present this topic in my seminar..Oh ya!Seminar!..shitts! Seminar!! That's why I was struggling to switch on that Lust-for-Dust machine..But finally the zeroes and ones played a good combination to get my PC under proper working conditions.
